Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all employee-related practices, such as recruitment, termination, performance management and retirement plans, and employee relations and solve potential issues associated with them
  • Devise and implement a professional HR development plan to ensure high productivity and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure their proper implementation in the company’s practices
  • Supervise day-to-day administrative operations to maintain and reinforce good communication with all operations employees
  • Recommend improvements to policies and practices to make sure the HR department operates as per industry standards
  • Posting of job advertisements and vacancies on job boards
  • Scheduling and coordinating job interviews
  • Assisting in preparing job offer letters
  • Providing support during recruitment activities such as job fairs and career events
  • Providing information on the recruitment status of the organization
  • Scheduling one-on-one meetings to discuss company policies.
  • Providing employee handbook and relevant documents (policies and manuals: Financial manual, HR (Paurushodaya) manual, anti-harassment manual etc)
  • Assisting the Head of HR during exit interviews and completing the documentation process.
  • Preparing and issuing of VOP letters and the acceptance letter of the resignations
  • Preparing and issuing of all types of service certificates and employee confirmation letters to the Visa offices/ Banks and to the other required institutions/organizations.
  • Tracking and keeping the company’s offense record
  • Coordinating and ensuring that the copies of all legal proceeding relevant to employ hearing are filed
  • Supporting the Head of HR in the preparation of HR Budget
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of performance management system
  • Monitoring the quarterly and annual performance evaluations
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with employees, management and every level of staff in the Sangamaya.
  • Handling all employee grievances, disputes, and complaints
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Assisting in conducting investigations into employee misconduct or violations of company policies

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-6 years proven experience as an HR Executive, with a minimum of 10 years in the HR field.
  • Proven management and organizational skills and the ability to foster relationships cross-departmentally
  • Hands on experience in handling recruitment, conducting disciplinary procedure and performance management.
  • Diploma in HR from a recognized institute (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a must
  • Very good knowledge in labour regulations and compliance
  • 1-2 years’ experience working for an NGO
  • Ability to work independently with no supervision
  • Male candidates are preferred.
