SEO SPECIALIST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Position clients’ web sites so they receive top rankings with major search engines for their relevant keywords.
- Manage and implement search engine optimisation plans (infographics, site articles, video, and social media) based on the direction set by the SEO Strategist, client constraints, and vendor recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant for Marketing on SEO best practices and methodologies for both on-page and off-page factors.
- Conduct consistent competitive analysis to determine long-term position strategies relative to our competitive set.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the online marketing and search landscape, including tool recommendations, strategies, industry news, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of SEO or related experience in SEM.
- Specific knowledge about search engines and their ranking algo's.
- A basic understanding of SEO practice and methodology, including architectural and design competencies, content and writing knowledge; as well as off-page link and promotion understanding.
- Strong organizational, analytical and presentation skills are required.
- Knowledge of Web Analytics applications such as Google Analytics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) & Visio.
- Basic knowledge of HTML & Content Management Systems.
