Over the years we have worked with over 1000 fast-growing companies in Sri Lanka, successfully delivering complex interior solutions across a range of sectors, including corporate, retail and hospitality. We now seek a talented, energetic and experienced Stores Executive with at least three years of hands-on experience gained in a similar role to be a part of our growing team.
Stores Executive
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement requests to avoid shortages.
- Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and storage of materials.
- Supervise loading/unloading of materials and verify quantities against delivery notes.
- Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) systems where applicable.
- Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Receipt Note), and issue slips.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports for management review.
- Liaise with procurement, Designers, Quantity Surveyors and project teams for material requirements.
- Support internal departments in material issuance and returns.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and warehouse regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to prevent accidents.
- Follow ISO standards.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in engineering or interior design firms.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and inventory best practices.
