STORES EXECUTIVE

Comfort World manufactures products to international standards catering to retail customers across the country and corporate clients in Sri Lanka, Seychelles and the Maldives. The organization revolutionized the mattress space within the country securing the license to manufacture and distribute Spring Air-USA mattresses to the region and is one of the 35 licensees operating world-wide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store and ensure the smooth functioning of inventory processes.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and manage inventory control systems.
- Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure timely and efficient material delivery.
- Handle stock audits and report discrepancies.
- Implement and monitor stock control procedures to minimize waste and overstocking.
- Prepare regular reports on stock levels, inventory movement, and store performance.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Certificate/Diploma in stores management from a recognized institute.
- Proven experience as a Stores Executive or similar role with minimum of 01 year experience.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
