WE ARE LOOKING FOR A
FINANCE MANAGER – PROJECTS (THALAWATHUGODA)
JOB PROFILE
- Develop and manage the project budget.
- Monitor project expenditures, control costs and provide timely variance analysis.
- Coordinate with procurement, project management and legal teams to ensure financial governance and risk mitigation.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
- Support financial planning for post construction operational readiness.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as banks, BOI, IRD, auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth project execution and compliance.
- Prepare and present standard and ad-hoc reports related to the project.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Be a Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance roles, including at least 3 years in project finance or capital infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, contracts and cash flow management.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
