OPERATIONS MANAGER

Role:
The prospective candidate will primarily, lead and oversee the operational functions of the plant, ensuring efficient production and quality standards across processed, dry food products, and frozen food items. He/She will be responsible for aligning plant operations with the overall business strategy, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring compliance with food safety and international quality regulations. The candidate should also contribute to process improvements, cost efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to support sustainable growth. Additionally, the role involves close coordination with sales and export teams to ensure timely fulfillment of international orders and support for new market development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and effective processes
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives
- Monitor and analyze operational performance and initiate improvements where necessary
- Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and to reduce costs
- Implement new systems and technologies to streamline operations and to increase productivity
- Manage the supply chain, inventory management and logistics
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to team members.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with sound credentials and with a proven track record of delivering results, aligned to the company's overall strategy.
The ideal candidate will:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Operations Management
- Experience in processed foods, frozen foods, canned foods and spice-related products is a must
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in similar role in food and beverages manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of operation management and supply chain management
- Good communication, strong analytical skills and computer literacy
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
