PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Introduce new products to the portfolio and ensure effective design principles are applied.
- Assist in resolving technical issues related to standard or custom products.
- Follow ISO work instructions and update procedures when necessary.
- Communicate new product/process details to relevant staff.
- Ensure quality and production teams are informed of quality standards for new implementations.
- Support quality improvements in standard products from a design perspective.
- Conduct work studies and implement productivity enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement within the department and factory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Should possess at least 1 year of experience in Research and developments related to steel and wood base products in a manufacturing environment.
- Should possess good communication (both oral and written) skills.
- Knowledge in ISO and quality assurance in product, process and service-related activities.
- Good leadership skills to manage people.
- Qualified BSc Engineer or Diploma holder with at least 2 years of experience in the mechanical stream.
- Sound knowledge of the SolidWorks Software.
