Tax Consultant - KG Group of Companies
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Tax Consultant to manage the preparation, filing, and submission of corporate and individual tax returns to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) in Sri Lanka. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with tax regulations and meet all statutory deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file income tax, VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns accurately.
- Submit tax returns on time through the IRD e-filing system.
- Advise on tax planning opportunities and regulatory changes.
- Coordinate with our internal finance team to gather necessary documentation.
- Handle correspondence and clarifications with the IRD.
To be a good fit, the following statements will apply to you
- Professional qualification in accounting/tax (CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in tax compliance and advisory in Sri Lanka.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws and IRD procedures.
- Proficiency in IRD’s online system is essential.
- Proven ability in submitting accurate tax returns.
