Electrical Foreman
This position is available in the Engineering Department of our terminal operations in Port of Colombo and will report to Electrical Engineer – Engineering Facilities.
The Role
The Electrical Foreman is mainly responsible to maintain, troubleshoot, remodel and repair electrical systems with experience ranging from Medium voltage systems to extra low voltage systems and industrial automation.
The Person
Qualifications, Experience and other Attributes
- 4 years full time Diploma or any other qualification relating to Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years industrial experience as an electrical foreman is a must.
- Hands on experience 11KV power systems and Low voltage power systems is a must.
- Previous experience in a facility management system will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure in a diversify working environment, managing people, equipment and material, scheduling daily works and overlook the work progress, prepare for future projects.
- Port related experience will be an added advantage.
- Capacity to use email and fare knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential.
- Good physical and mental health.
- Candidates below 40 years of age preferred due to the nature of working environment.
