FACTORY MANAGER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
- Oversee Factory Operations – Manage production, planning, quality assurance, and maintenance for overall operations.
- Optimize Workflow & Performance – Coordinate with department heads, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements.
- Ensure Compliance & Standards – Enforce health, safety, environmental, and labor regulations within the factory.
- Lead & Develop Teams – Train, mentor, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate & Innovate – Work closely with merchandising and sourcing teams to enhance production flow and implement best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience & Leadership – Minimum 10 years in garment manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Education & Expertise – Degree or Diploma in Apparel Production or a related field, with strong knowledge of woven fashion wear, quality standards, and compliance.
- Strategic & Operational Skills – Solid understanding of production planning, cost control, and operational KPIs, with expertise in manufacturing processes.
- Communication & Preferred Attributes – Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; fluency in English and Sinhala; preferred age between 35 and 45 years.
