POSITION AVAILABLE: GROUP HEAD OF HR & ADMINISTRATION
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Head of HR & Administration to lead our human capital agenda and administrative operations across the group. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable of aligning HR strategies with business goals, cultivating a high-performance culture, and ensuring smooth administrative functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide strategic leadership to the HR and Administration teams across the Group, fostering a performance-driven, engaged, and compliant workforce.
- Formulate and implement HR and Admin policies and procedures aligned with corporate goals, while ensuring compliance with labour laws and ISO standards.
- Oversee the full talent management cycle including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
- Lead HR digitalization and automation through HRIS, SAP for use of HR Analytics for top level decision making.
- Lead change management initiatives during growth, restructuring or modernization.
- Partner with executive leadership to embed HR as a strategic driver of organizational growth and competitiveness.
- Directing the relevant HR Staff to monitor and administrate time & attendance, leave administration, and absenteeism control for both executive and non-executive staff to enhance productivity.
- Analyze staffing levels and support management in conducting periodic cadre reviews to align resources with business needs.
- Guide compensation benchmarking and benefits analysis to ensure the Group remains competitive and retains high-performing talent.
- Lead employee relations, handle disciplinary matters, represent the company in labour tribunals and liaise with external agencies such as the Department of Labour and the Employers’ Federation.
- Monitor the administration of employee welfare services including meals, uniforms, transport, and workplace health and safety.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for executive forums such as HR Reviews and Production Meetings.
- Promote a values-driven culture that emphasizes collaboration, ethical conduct, wellness, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the health, wellness and safety of all employees within the group.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration with MBA, or a related field. Preferably Master’s Degree in HR Management.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years at a senior leadership level, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in industrial relations, labour law, HR strategy, organizational planning, and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
