Interior Designer
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize knowledge of hospitality furniture and technology, and custom furniture and lighting solutions, finishes, materials, color selections, and ID specifications.
- Produce furniture plans, specifications, material selections and schedules needed for construction documentation independently or with minimal supervision.
- Participate in the selection of furniture systems and specifications.
- Specify products and materials.
- Specify equipment, materials, and supplies required for the completion and implementation of the projects.
- Create and present materials to executive management for internal and external events.
- Manage the interior design process for an entire project consistent with project’s program, budget and time constraints.
- Perform professional architectural design and project management for construction projects.
- Coordinate project teams in the progress of architectural design and construction drawings, interior design drawings, specifications, schedule, cost estimates and project reports.
- Develop technical specifications for construction projects.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in interior design or related field
- Minimum of 02 - 05 years experience in the same settings
- Ability to develop 3D visualization and concepts development
- Project management experience and computational design with creativeness.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Sinhala. Tamil language will be an added advantage.
