Aberdeen Holdings is a leading Sri Lankan conglomerate with a strong presence across diverse industries. We are hiring a Manager - Human Resources & Administration for one of our subsidiaries. This role involves leading end-to-end HR and administrative functions, driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and aligning HR practices with business goals in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training & development, payroll, and APIT tax compliance.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner by aligning HR strategies with overall business goals.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture, morale, and retention through innovative programs.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and HR policies while ensuring strict compliance with labor laws and internal regulations.
  • Oversee administrative operations, including facility management, safety protocols, and crisis resilience.
  • Drive process optimization and innovation through continuous improvement projects, cost-saving measures, and employee development programs.
  • Represent HR in group-level committees and cross-functional projects, contributing to corporate-wide HR strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration, preferably in a managerial position.
  • Proven leadership in managing HR functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems, and compliance procedures.
  • Demonstrated success in employee engagement, restructuring, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and data-driven HR reporting.
