CCECC-CRCG Joint Venture (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team for a landmark building construction project—the Maritime Facilitation Center in Colombo. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, cost management expertise, and a commitment to quality and efficiency in construction project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of project budgets, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Evaluation and certification of contractor and subcontractor claims, payments, and variations
- Cost control, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Previous experience in lumpsum contract
- Preparation of tender documents and support during procurement and contract negotiations
- Site inspections for measurement and progress verification
- Coordination with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, and procurement officers
- Support dispute resolution, contract compliance, and value engineering processes
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field
- Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in quantity surveying within the building construction sector
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC or equivalent), tendering procedures, and cost control practices
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and professional QS software (PlanSwift)
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
