JOB DESCRIPTION:

Meraki Lawyers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual based in Sri Lanka to join our team as a HR Officer. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work full-time.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of HR management experience. Prior experience with Australian employment laws or professional services is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian workplace standards, employment laws, and HR compliance is desirable (training will be provided if needed).
  • Technology: Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll handling and employee engagement.
  • Develop policies that align with Australian employment laws and global best practices.
  • Manage performance reviews, training programs, and career development initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR strategies and challenges.

Salary range: LKR 80,000 to LKR 100,000
