Project Manager
J.N. INTERIORS is a leading interior designing and civil construction company which has earned its reputation for interior designing in Sri Lanka since 1998. We are looking for a dedicated, energetic, self-motivated personal to suit our requirements and to grow with our company for the following vacancy:
Job Role
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules and monitoring time management
- Organizing, attending and participating in project meetings and providing feedback to the management.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Ensuring project deadlines and changes are met
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
- Check the overall quality of the project before handing over to client and take corrective actions if required
- Ensuring subordinates to follow a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective successfully
- Monitor costs to ensure the project is within the budget
- Prepare a report on project weaknesses, loopholes and strengths identified during the project and recommendations for improvements
- Conduct project progress meetings with Clients, Architects and other relevant authorities
Qualifications and Skills required
- BSc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 – 10 years’ post qualifying experience in the construction and interior industry. Experience in the interior field will be an advantage
- Excellent managerial, organizing, planning, communication and interpersonal skills along with good command in English and IT literacy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work on tight deadlines
- Should be innovative, hardworking, process oriented and dedicated person with a proven track record
- Candidates must be between age 32 to 45
