RESERVATION EXECUTIVE

The Reservations and E-Commerce Executive plays a crucial role in maximizing room revenue and ensuring a seamless booking experience for guests. This dual-role position combines expertise in reservations management with proficiency in e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will manage and process guest reservations, oversee the online booking systems, and optimize the hotel's presence across various online platforms. This role is integral to maintaining high occupancy levels and ensuring the hotel’s online presence is competitive and appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
Reservations Management:
- Manage daily reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of all guest bookings through various channels (phone, email, online, and walk-ins).
- Provide prompt and professional responses to all guest inquiries, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded.
- Monitor room availability, ensuring overbooking is minimized and that the hotel’s inventory is effectively managed.
- Liase with other departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B) to ensure guest expectations are met and special requests are accommodated.
- Handle amendments, cancellations, and special requests efficiently, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
E-Commerce Operations:
- Manage the hotel’s online booking platforms, including the website, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), and GDS (Global Distribution Systems).
- Monitor and update room rates, availability, and special promotions on all online channels to optimize revenue.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement e-commerce strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and booking patterns to recommend pricing strategies and online marketing tactics.
- Ensure that all online content is accurate, visually appealing, and up-to-date, reflecting the hotel’s brand and offerings.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online sales and reservations.
Guest Relations:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guest interactions reflect the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
- Address guest complaints and issues related to reservations and online bookings, seeking quick resolutions and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services, such as room upgrades, dining packages, and special experiences, to enhance the guest’s stay.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest profiles.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on reservations and e-commerce performance.
- Assist in the development and training of junior reservations staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in reservations, e-commerce, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS), Channel Managers, and e-commerce platforms. Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
