Stores Executive
Location – Ingiriya
We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual who is willing to take the challenge. The ideal candidate should possess the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare GRNs, update inventory systems, and maintain accurate store documentation.
- Process and verify Material Requests from the sample coordinator before issuing fabric.
- Accurately issue sample yardages to the sample room and ensure confirmation of correct quality and quantity.
- Arrange timely dispatch of fabric to factories as per merchant instructions, including gate passes and dispatch notices.
- Track inventory levels, balance stock, and transfer excess or unused materials to the “B” stock department as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment and ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness in all operations.
Individual Profile
- At least 2 years’ experience in a storekeeping or inventory role, preferably in the textile or garment industry.
- Understanding of fabric types, inventory procedures, and document handling.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other inventory management software/tools.
- High accuracy in verifying fabric types, quantities, and related documentation.
- Skilled in arranging stock, maintaining systematic records, and ensuring space efficiency.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with sample coordinators, merchants, and departments.
- Able to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and take accountability for stock accuracy and timeliness.
