Job Description

Requirement & Experiences:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems, from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in power systems, including AIS and substation projects.
  • At least 3–4 years of hands-on experience with power electronics devices.
  • Proven expertise in substation works including installation, erection, cable laying, termination, jointing, and testing.
  • Familiarity with panel installation; retrofit work experience and exposure to old substation environments are preferred.
  • Good understanding of modern trends in power systems such as renewable energy integration and energy storage technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in substation systems including EHV and MV switchgears, protection systems, control systems, auxiliary systems, single line diagrams, grounding, layouts, and cabling.
  • Sound understanding of protection relays (transformers, feeders, etc.) and SCADA/SCMS systems, including IEC 61850 communication protocols.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
