A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems, from a recognized university.
Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in power systems, including AIS and substation projects.
At least 3–4 years of hands-on experience with power electronics devices.
Proven expertise in substation works including installation, erection, cable laying, termination, jointing, and testing.
Familiarity with panel installation; retrofit work experience and exposure to old substation environments are preferred.
Good understanding of modern trends in power systems such as renewable energy integration and energy storage technologies.
Strong knowledge in substation systems including EHV and MV switchgears, protection systems, control systems, auxiliary systems, single line diagrams, grounding, layouts, and cabling.
Sound understanding of protection relays (transformers, feeders, etc.) and SCADA/SCMS systems, including IEC 61850 communication protocols.
Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
