Assistant - Product Development (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

BOM Creation for New Articles

  • Create detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system for new product articles to support accurate costing and production planning.

BOM Modifications of Existing Engineering

  • Update and revise Engineering BOMs based on design changes, material updates, or production feedback.

Online Update of Quality List

  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of the quality list in the ERP system to reflect current standards and materials.

Assist in Shade Band Finalization

  • Support the prepare and approval process of shade bands, ensuring alignment with buyer requirements and consistency in color standards.
  • Assist in performing timely online updates of quality lists to ensure accurate information is available across relevant systems and teams.

Maintain Fabric Hangers and Tech Packs

  • Maintain and organize fabric hanger samples and ensure tech packs are current, accurate, and properly shared with relevant teams.
  • Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Textile Technology, Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field.
  • Degree would be a definite advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • Prior experience or internship in product development or ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft application.
  • Ability to work in ERP systems.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Data Handling.
