Role:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Desktop Support Engineer located in Malé. The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop computers and printers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring efficient operation of computer systems. The role includes setting up and maintaining computer hardware, installing and upgrading software, and supporting employees with IT-related issues to maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in providing technical support for desktop computers
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Knowledge of printer support and maintenance
- Strong understanding of computer hardware
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
- Experience in network support is a plus
- A degree in Information Technology
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA / MCSA are a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Language proficiency in English
