Manager - Planning

The Manager - Planning is responsible for the overall planning of all orders for the assigned customer(s) or customer category, driving the topline target for the customer(s). The role-holder finalizes plans based on order projections and forecasts, order confirmations, and available capacity and reports to the Manager Planning. The job holder is also responsible for managing the Time & Action (T&A) of the orders and ensuring order fulfillment meets customer expectations and On-Time Delivery (OTD) standards. Additionally, the Planning Manager is expected to drive improvements in the planning process, enhancing overall efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Drive the planning process for assigned customer(s) or customer category, covering both current and future orders
- Monitor adherence to the PPC Calendar, Frozen Plan, and Factory Plans, and address deviations in line with established guidelines
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional deliverables
- Provide guidance and training to planning teams within the assigned product category, and take responsibility for their performance
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Clothing Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- 6 to 9+ years of experience in a planning function, with strong involvement in implementing planning improvement projects and exposure to industry best practices
- A self-starter and proactive go-getter with a performance-driven mindset and the ability to take ownership in delivering operational excellence
