Assistant Accountant
The Ayati National Center for Children with Disabilities, is located in Ragama. It is a center that provides unique and specialized services to children with various developmental disabilities. The services of the centre are provided free of charge by the staff of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya and the Ministry of Health, while the Ayati Trust Sri Lanka funds the day-to-day operations of the centre.
We are currently on the look out for (Full Time) Assistant Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly/final accounts including bank reconciliations and managing the annual audit.
- Preparation and monitoring the budget and responsible for all payments.
- Managing different funds and reporting on same on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Responsible for all matters with the Bank and NGO Secretariat.
- Procurement of stationery and other medical related equipment and/or material.
Qualifications
- Part qualifications in Accountancy. CIMA/Chartered/CMA
Requirements
- Computer literate, with proficiency in advanced Excel.
- Good communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
- Passionate about assisting clients visiting AYATI and willing to multitask and support all events at AYATI.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
Salary Range
- Basic LKR 85,000/-
