Factory Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring smooth, efficient, and timely production of wood-based products.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure production targets are met while adhering to strict quality standards and maintaining cost-efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective production schedules, inventory controls, and maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Oversee the management of raw materials and finished goods inventory, ensuring efficient stock control and minimizing waste.
  • Work closely with other departments, including quality control, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze production data, and drive process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering or any other relevant professional qualification from a reputed university or institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the wood-based manufacturing industry.
  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards specific to wood products.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • A relevant degree or diploma in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality standards in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve factory performance.
