GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST — Product Development Center

What we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in garment industry
- Good spoken and written English communication
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives
- Ability to maintain healthy interpersonal relationships and good team work
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct development meeting with pattern maker, planning, and technical and production team (sample room).
- Analyse the design sketch, tech pack to understand and clarify intended design.
- Clarify technical specification, construction and workmanship, placement details, embellishment details, washing requirement, product feasibility, low cost and revert back to customer for further clarifications.
- Work closely with pattern makers in order to ensure that all pattern/garments that are produced are technically viable for design and quality parameters as specified by the customer. Follow up critical path through whole product development life cycle while providing necessary guidance.
- Advise and communicate effectively with the development team based on style detail, special requirement, comments, and production difficulties in order to ensure that the garment is constructed as per specifications and meets the performance criteria such as production feasibility and fit.
- Ensure customer requirements such as spec measurement, quality of the product, styling detail, labeling, washing standard, safety matters, testing are met.
- Ensure right fit, accuracy of per-screening, fit log, PLM upload and provide to customer in timely manner.
- Confirm accuracy of spec as per the fit and minimum standards together with pattern tech.
- Attend to Risk analysis meeting to explain the risks that could come across in development stage.
