Service Advisor Generator
UML Heavy Equipment Ltd., is a fully owned subsidiary of United Motors Lanka PLC, the distributor for JCB brand for both Sri Lanka and Maldives, which include Excavators, Compactors, Wheel Loaders, Telescopic Handlers, Skid Steer Loaders, Super Loaders and Generators. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to drive the growth of our generator sales business in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in generator sales, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to market coverage.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regular service and Maintenance for generators
- Create estimates for generator repairs and maintenance
- Attend customer inquiries, handle complaints, and provide solutions
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and high-quality operations
- Troubleshoot, identify, and provide solutions for problems
- Advise customers on preventive maintenance schedules and practices
- Develop strong connections with customers
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience in Generator maintenance, operations, and safety management
- Knowledge of Generator maintenance with ATS
- Relevant technical/ professional qualifications above NVQ IV
- Have strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- A good team player
