Manager - Network Planning & Optimization/RF Manager
Basic Requirements
- BSc Engineering Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University
- More than 8 years’ experience in Network Planning & Optimization in telecommunication field.
- Good team player with excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Requires proactive interpersonal skills – Innovative and Active.
Responsibilities
- Has overall responsibility for the design, optimization of the 2G/3G/4G/5G Radio network.
- Lead and manage the optimization engineers, field engineers and drive test teams for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly deliverable.
- Ensure that all tasks and deliverable are up to customer expectations and avoid any poor network quality and performance.
- Manage and lead customer interface and manage expectations effectively.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for team to achieve project KPI targets. Performs performance reviews and provides feedback.
- Mentors staff to achieve personal and professional growth.
Qualification
- Ability to direct resources according to established policies and management guidelines; ability to lead and conduct planning/resource management.
- Solid understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) Planning Tools and the Site Design Process.
- Strong GSM/UMTS Base Station Subsystem/Optimization knowledge.
- Ability to interface with cross-functional team members to gain the support required to accomplish team goals/tasks.
- Uses discretion during assessment of area goals and objectives; required to properly assess magnitude of issues, resource requirements, etc.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, Ability to work under pressure, and multitask, Ability to plan schedules and prioritize workload.
