BUSINESS ADVISORY CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
We are looking for a qualified & experienced Business Advisor & Chartered Accountant to join our growing accountancy practice. This role suits a proactive professional who enjoys providing strategic advice & financial guidance while supporting client success through high-quality advisory & compliance services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert financial & business advice to a diverse portfolio of SME & corporate clients.
- Serve as the primary liaison with HMRC, managing communications, tax submissions, & queries.
- Prepare & review year-end statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP or IFRS.
- Manage debtors & credit control, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.
- Advise on tax planning, cash flow, and business structuring.
- Support clients with forecasting, budgeting, & performance analysis.
- Conduct risk assessments & review internal controls as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams on AML compliance, tax strategies, & business development.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ICAEW, ACCA) with a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation, accounting standards, & regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks software will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
- Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail & ability to manage multiple clients & deadlines.
