Digital Content & Social Media Executive (Full-Time)
For Furniture Showroom located in Colombo 02
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation.
- Capture & edit high quality photos and videos using a smartphone (iPhone or similar).
- Develop visually compelling content for Instagram & Facebook (Posts, Reels, Stories).
- Support the creative direction for showcasing our craftsmanship and lifestyle appeal.
- Social Media Management.
- Manage & schedule content across social platforms.
- Create & maintain a content calendar aligned with brand and marketing goals.
- Monitor engagement & use analytics to improve content strategy.
- Brand & Digital Presence.
- Help develop a cohesive & aspirational online brand identity.
- Stay current with digital trends & competitor activity.
- Contribute to positioning the brand as a premium, design-led label.
- Website & SEO
- Write & manage website content (product descriptions, blog articles, updates).
- Apply basic SEO strategies to boost search visibility & organic reach.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in digital content creation or social media management.
- A strong portfolio of social media work, content designs, and/or SEO contributions.
- Excellent command of English (Sinhala or Tamil in an added advantage).
- Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Lightroom, Capcut, or similar.
- A strong aesthetic sense & appreciation for design or luxury branding.
- Organized, self-driven, and able to handle multiple tasks independently.
- Basic understanding of SEO and web content principles.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required)
- Experience running digital ad campaigns using Meta Ads Manager.
- Background in photography or videography.
- Strong copywriting or storytelling skills for lifestyle or premium brands.
