SOUS CHEF

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and timely service
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Monitor and manage prep systems, stock levels, inventory rotation, and wastage
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Collaborate on the development and execution of new dishes, daily specials, and menu transitions
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and reported for servicing when needed
- Foster a positive, respectful, and disciplined kitchen environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years professional kitchen experience, with at least 2 years as a Sous Chef
- Expertise in pastry & bakery, hot kitchen, and cold kitchen operations
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, cost control, and inventory systems
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
- Calm under pressure, respectful leadership style, and strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); effective communicator
- Passionate about quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction
- Preferably based in Ella or willing to relocate nearby
