We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join us as Sous Chef in the Pastry Kitchen of Uga Bay, Pasikudah. This hands-on role is responsible for the daily operations of the Pastry Kitchen, supporting the Chef in Charge in maintaining the highest quality standards across the Kitchen.

You will play a key role in upholding, enhancing, and evolving our culinary standards ensuring everything we serve to our guests reflects authenticity, excellence, and refined taste. From preparation to plating, your craft will shape memorable dining experiences and reinforce our identity as a brand that redefines Sri Lankan luxury hospitality.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a luxury resort or luxury boutique hotel.
  • Qualification in the fine Culinary Arts from a recognized institute.
  • Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
  • Attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in food preparation, plating, and presentation.
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to contribute to menu development and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
