Mechanical Technician / Lathe Operator
Non Executive (Dankotuwa)
The incumbent is in charge of planning and carrying out maintenance related tasks on a roster basis. The role further entails;
- Planning and execution of maintenance tasks on a roster basis.
- Operation of lathe and other machine tools.
- Installation and assembly of machinery.
- Inspections and testing of equipment.
- Periodic maintenance and repairs.
- Technical support and documentation.
- Tool and equipment management.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Inventory and spare parts management.
- Coordination with other departments.
Who We Want
- Possesses training qualification in NVQ level-4 from Mechanical, Mechatronic or electrical Engineering (CGGTI/ATI or any other technical college is preferred).
- 1 - 2 years of experience in the capacity of a Fitter in a Manufacturing environment.
- Pro in MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
