Senior Executive - Internal Audit

Role Accountabilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies, and regulatory requirements of the branches and the departments.
- Identify risks and recommend actionable solutions to improve operations and mitigate potential exposures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on unresolved issues.
- Support the development and enhancement of internal audit plan, methodologies and practices.
- Monitor and supervise the team members to do their work in an effective and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure company-wide adherence to best practices.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification in CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent (fully or part-qualified).
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards in Sri Lanka.
- Proficiency in IT, data analytics, and advance excel is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
