Naturalist
We are a Luxury Boutique villa located in Kandy specializing in bringing our guests authentic and unique experiences around the island. We are looking to welcome a dynamic, service-oriented professional with good PR abilities and an enthusiastic attitude to satisfy guests far above their expectations at our premium boutique villa.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct guided nature walks, game drives, and tours in and around the Villa area.
- Sharing knowledge with guests about the local flora and fauna.
- Promote environmental awareness and conservation.
- Stay up to date with the latest research and discoveries in the field of natural history to enhance the quality of guest interactions.
Requirements
- A qualification/part qualification in Environmental Studies/ Zoology/ Botany from a recognized institute.
- Proven experience as a naturalist, environmental educator, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecological processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire guests of all ages.
- A Passion for conservation and environmental sustainability.
The successful candidate will receive an attractive remuneration package with incentives on par with or over the industry norms.
