Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of our apartment buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all residential facilities and systems operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, providing residents with a comfortable living experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management.
- Diagnose and repair issues with building infrastructure and appliances.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and safety records.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and optimize operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
- Assist in planning and implementing facility upgrades and improvements.
- Conduct emergency repairs as needed to maintain safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with property management to improve building operations and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance, preferably in residential or commercial properties.
- Technical knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of safety standards and building codes.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to respond to emergency calls.
