Accountant
Veyangoda (Male Candidates Only)
Job Description:
- Age: 25-40 years
- Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
- Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger, ensuring precise recording of financial transactions.
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Ensure adherence to corporate, statutory, and legal requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Lead and monitor the finance team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and reforecasting processes.
Requirement
- Degree in Accounting and Finance | Fully qualified in AAT or partly qualified in CA, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Minimum of 4 years in financial management.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Proven experience in external audits, budgeting, and month-end financial finalization.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP system.
