The Job

  • Monitor stock levels across warehouses and plan timely reorders to avoid shortages and overstocking.
  • Analyse consumption trends and lead times to drive accurate forecasting and cost-effective inventory control.
  • Develop procurement strategies, source from local and international suppliers, and negotiate best-value deals.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners for timely import clearance and delivery.
  • Oversee unloading, documentation, and compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Track procurement and logistics costs, support landed costing, and contribute to pricing decisions.
  • Generate reports on stock status, supplier performance, and identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, inventory control, or supply chain management.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive and strategic mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • GCE A/L or higher; a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications in procurement or inventory management (e.g., CIPS, APICS) will be an advantage.
