SHIPPING EXECUTIVE
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and collaboration with foreign principals, internal and local external stake holders and get the shipments as per the target deadline.
- Follow-up on order status with principals and keep the import tracker up to date.
- Validate the accuracy of the shipping documents which are intended to do the customs clearance.
- Freight negotiations for local freight in the case of Inco EXW /FOB shipments.
- Ensure all imports are aligned with rules and regulations set by the foreign and local authorities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Imports, Logistics or Purchasing related job role.
- Successfully completed GCE Advance Level, preferably in Science Stream.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistic or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge on ERP Systems and Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
