Senior Engineer
We are currently seeking an energetic, well-organized, and experienced Engineer to manage and oversee all engineering and maintenance activities in the company.
This position also offers the opportunity to lead new development projects, including building construction and sensory machinery developments.
Key Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the overall maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
- Supervise a team of 17 technicians providing direction, support, and training to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead new development projects, including building construction, machinery installations, and improvements. Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of these projects.
- Continuously assess engineering processes and machinery, recommending improvements for increased productivity, quality, and safety.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure all engineering activities comply with local and international safety regulations.
Required skills and experience
- A hands-on, practical leader with a positive attitude and willingness to work at the ground level when necessary.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an engineering or maintenance role within a manufacturing or processing environment.
- Proven experience managing engineering teams and handling large-scale projects (e.g., machinery development, facility construction).
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Hands-on experience in both preventive and corrective maintenance, particularly in machinery and industrial systems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee the execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with HACCP or other quality assurance standards in the food processing industry will be value added.
