DATA ANALYST
We are a dynamic and fast-paced trading company specializing in Imports and Exports. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, we are seeking a motivated DATA ANALYST to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills looking to build a career in data analysis within the trading and finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and interpret data from various sources including internal systems, databases, and external datasets.
- Clean, validate, and prepare data for analysis.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business goals.
- Create clear visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI etc.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with departments (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to support data needs.
- Assist in data governance and ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Finance or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a data analytics or similar role (internships also considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one data analytics language (SQL, Python, or R).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
