Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve the set revenue targets for General Insurance businesses of the branch by developing a focused and result oriented sales team
- Responsible for overall sales, underwriting claims and administration functions of the branch.
- Drive the respective branch to meet the required service standards through effective and efficient utilization of human capital and other resources
- Monitor and evaluate performance of all Group Leaders, Team Leaders, MEs and Advisors pertaining to General Insurance businesses on a regular basis and ensure KPIs are met with all stakeholders.
- Maintain a professional relationship with key business personnel, business organizations, and other governing bodies in the respective area to develop adequate business opportunities.
Qualifications & Pre-requisites
- Degree/Masters Degree in Business Management from a UGC approved university or fully or partly qualified in Insurance/SLIM/CIM/diploma or Postgraduate diploma in a managerial discipline with minimum 05 years of experience and presently in Executive capacity or above
- OR
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, underwriting operations and presently in Executive capacity or above of which 5 years in supervisory level or managerial level in a branch
- A self-driven leader with excellent communication skills which includes Sinhala / Tamil & English and a pleasing personality
- Proven capability of building effective interpersonal relationships
- Clear and continuous track record in performance
- Age preferably below 45 years
