BANKING ASSISTANT (MARKETING DEPARTMENT: DIGITAL MARKETING)
You should ideally:
- possess minimum 3 years of relevant experience in banking/financial institution preferably in website coordination, content management, and digital marketing support
- possess a diploma in Digital Marketing, Marketing, IT, or related field
- possess familiarity with CMS platforms and basic website functionalities
- possess a working knowledge of Google Analytics and/or basic SEO concepts
- have good interpersonal and coordination skills to engage with multiple teams
- possess enthusiasm to learn, adapt quickly, and support innovation in digital channels
- have excellent communication skills in English (Sinhala/Tamil an added advantage)
You will be mainly responsible for:
- coordinating with internal business units, marketing, IT teams, and external website vendors to manage and enhance the bank’s website
- creating, uploading, and updating website content using the Content Management System (CMS)
- monitoring website performance and user behavior using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and generating actionable insights
- supporting the Bank’s Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy by collaborating with partners, providing requirements, and following up as needed
- participating in website-related projects, including user testing, feedback management, and gathering new requirements
- ensuring the Bank’s website remains current, relevant, and aligned with brand standards
- assisting in planning and executing digital marketing efforts for the bank
