We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Assistant Manager – Procurement.

ASSISTANT MANAGER - PROCUREMENT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement activities related to construction and interior projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
  • Manage sourcing and supplier relations for a wide range of materials including gypsum, ceilings, partitions, carpeting, flooring, tiles, aluminum/glass works, FF&E, civil materials, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) items.
  • Develop and maintain a robust vendor network, locally and internationally, while negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and credit facilities.
  • Review and interpret technical specifications and BOQs to ensure accurate material selection and order placement.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align material deliveries with project timelines.
  • Monitor and manage material inventory, addressing any delays or discrepancies to maintain seamless site operations.

Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

  • 4-5 years of proven procurement or purchasing experience in the construction or interior design industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of building/interior material suppliers and market trends.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with construction technical drawings and BOQs.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
