We are currently expanding our operations and are seeking experienced professionals to join our leadership team.
Manager— Design & Estimation (MEP)
Location: Head Office, Sri Lanka
Industry: Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)
This is a senior-level position responsible for leading the entire pre-tendering division of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the complete pre-tendering division, including all MEP design and estimation activities.
- Supervise the team of estimation engineers, design engineers, and pre-tendering quantity surveyors.
- Oversee preparation of accurate cost estimates and design solutions based on client BOQs.
- Participate in client meetings prior to tender submission and conduct necessary site visits.
- Ensure timely and complete submission of all technical and commercial proposals and tenders.
- Coordinate with internal departments and clients to ensure all requirements are addressed in submitted proposals.
- Provide technical leadership, review designs, and ensure alignment with industry standards and project requirements.
- Integrate up-to-date industry practices, technologies, and cost analysis into the department's workflows.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all pre-tender documentation and communications.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent NDT qualification.
- Minimum of 07 years' progressive experience in MEP design, estimation, and quantity surveying.
- Proven experience managing a pre-tendering or estimation division in a construction or engineering firm.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant estimation software.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and cost estimation principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate complex pre-tender deliverables.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
