ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR a Part qualification iCA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or CMA.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Experience in an audit firm will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial strategy.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting.
- Ability to implement and manage internal controls in line with accounting strategies.
- Experience in costing and stock valuation.
- Proficiency in reconciliation and financial analysis reports.
- Familiarity with accounting software packages.
Other Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Age below 50 years.
