Vacancy for an Accountant
We are a well-established BOI approved Apparel Company located in Gothatuwa. We are looking for a highly motivated, result oriented Accountant to join our team.
Requirement
- Completed or Final Level of CA Sri Lanka
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Conversant in QuickBooks accounting software
- To work under minimum supervision with good communication skills
- Experience in Garments industries would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the accounting & tax function of the company
- Ensure preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Prepare & provide management information reports
- Strong monitoring analytical, interpretation and reporting skills
- Well developed liaising and negotiation skills with banks and other external organizations
- Evaluate & implement internal controls
- Liaise with external Auditors, BOI, IRD & Other statutory bodies
