PATTERN MAKER / MARKER MAKER
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed patterns based on design specifications, sketches, or samples. This involves creating both flat patterns and 3D models, depending on the design and garment requirements.
- Utilize technical skills and knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and fit to create accurate patterns. This includes understanding how different fabrics behave and how they will affect the final garment.
- Identify the correct fit and construction requirement of a style and develop patterns arrange cut for sample and bulk production following up the sample progress with sewing tech and send the samples to customer for fit review.
- Knowledge using Lectra system for pattern creation, base size development, grading and marker making.
- Address day to day pattern issues in both the sample room and bulk production.
- Meet deadlines issuing bulk marker makers.
Requirements:
- Should have a minimum of 03 years’ experience in the relevant field as a pattern maker or marker maker.
- Diploma or degree in pattern making and grading, marker maker.
- Should have experience in handling categories - formal & outerwear (pant, short, top, dress, t-shirt).
- Should have experience in handling fabric (knitted, woven, synthetic).
- Strong knowledge and experience with the Lectra system.
- Maintain accuracy in creating and updating patterns, paying close attention to details.
