DATA PROTECTION OFFICER
The Data Protection Officer is responsible for ensuring the organization's compliance with Data Protection laws and regulations. The DPO will oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures and safeguard to protect personal data and ensure its lawful processing and will be directly reporting to the CEO. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure privacy and data protection practices are embedded across the organization.
The Profile should be
- A degree in law with 1-2 years of experience
- or
- A degree in Public or Business Administration, Information technology, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field & good understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
- Ensure the Company, management processor and employees in compliance with Personal Data Protection Act.
- Compliance with the PDPA and its amendments, related directives etc... issued on time to time.
- Competency and capacity to implement strategies and mechanisms to respond to inquiries and incidents.
