Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to join us as Accountant in Uga Prava, Tangalle. This hands-on role involves managing daily financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
You will play a key role in maintaining, improving, and streamlining our financial processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and support the hotel's operational standards. Your efficient financial management will ensure the organization’s sustainability and reinforce our identity as a brand that redefines Sri Lankan luxury hospitality.
Requirements
- A minimum of 03 - 04 years of proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role.
- Should be proficient in all aspects of accounting, including financial reporting, transaction recording, auditing and related processes.
- Previous experience in a luxury resort or boutique hotel is a definite advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a professional qualification from a recognized accounting body (CA, CIMA, CMA, ACCA).
- Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth accounting operations.
- A positive mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Should possess strong communication skills and decision-making skills.
