Senior Manager – Network Sales Spare Parts (Passenger Cars)

Overview of the role
Senior Manager – Network Sales, will play a pivotal role in expanding and managing passenger car service and parts dealer network. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive market studies to identify potential in various geographical regions and soliciting and evaluating proposals from prospective dealers to appoint them as authorized dealers. You will be overall in-charge and responsible for divisional business performance on sales, margins, operational cost and EBIT.
What you will do
- Conduct market studies to understand the potential of various geographical regions for Genuine spare parts,
- Oversee sales executives and manage territories, sales administrators,
- Solicit and evaluate proposals from potential dealers before appointing them as authorized dealers.
- Perform credit evaluations of dealers and credit management,
- Overall dealer management, Branding as on CI guidelines, maintain dealer operational standard.
- Potential and order forecasting and coordinate with the ordering team.
- Develop market-driven pricing strategies in collaboration with the planning team.
- Conduct frequent dealer visits, implement promotional measures, (ATL and BTL) and resolve dealer disputes.
- Organize national and regional promotional campaigns.
What equips you for the role
- Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Finance, or equivalent. An MBA or SLIM qualification is an added advantage.
- 5-10 years of experience in sales territory management, specifically in automobile spare parts or other technical products, with at least 3 years in a senior role, leading a trading business vertical with a team of sales staff and dealer network.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office, and hands-on experience in ERP systems, such as SAP.
Required skills to be successful
- Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English; proficiency in Tamil is an added advantage.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Willingness to travel extensively to outstation, dealer visits.
